Cheese lovers and nail gurus unite! Velveeta and Nails.INC is taking food for skin to another level. Their collaboration, Pinkies Out Polish, resulted in two new nail polish shades that smell like, you guessed it, cheese!
Say Cheese!
Food-scented nail polishes are not new. In fact, Nails.INC has released scented polish collections in the past, including polishes that smell like fruit, chocolate, rosé, and now…cheese. The unusual collaboration is a part of Velveeta’s “La Dolce Velveeta” platform that is “…all about stepping out in a confident, unapologetic way to show the world that you’re living a life filled with outrageous pleasure,” according to a press release from the parent company of Velveeta, Kraft-Heinz Co. As the nail polish collection states, the polishes are meant for you to “live life pinkies out.”
These limited edition cheesy polishes come in shades of “Finger Food,” a vibrant red, and “La Dolce Velveeta,” a cheesy yellow. The collection also features limited-edition cheese-themed nail stickers. The sticker sheet contains metallic gold cheese drips, Velveeta’s infamous shell pasta shape, and the words ‘drip’ and ‘creamy.’
